Eve & Nakoda Kind Spirit Horses

Meet Eve Casavant,

With over 20 years of experience I support adults and youth to find their confidence and strengths.

I am a registered intuitive therapist, certified coach, and certified FEEL® (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning) focusing on personal growth, leadership development, and trauma-informed care.

I started facilitating sessions alongside horses in 2017. My horses and I assist people in developing their potential through healing and fine-tuning their neurobiology. The current Kind Spirit Herd of 5 horses and I have been partnering together since 2020 and are ready to be part of your healing journey.

I have over 20 years of experience as a wellness practitioner and spent most of my life with and around horses. I have professional education and certification in Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Personal Training, FMS, Classical Pilates, Yoga, Holistic Nutrition, Massage Therapy, Structural Integration, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Deep Flow Somatic Inquiry, Life Coaching, Relational Somatic Therapy and Internal Family Systems-informed approaches, FEEL® (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning), Reiki and many other energy based modalities.

Scope of Practice

I do not diagnose or treat mental health disorders. My scope of practice is relational and educational, supporting clients in cultivating body awareness, emotional resilience, and relational capacity. I am committed to professional ethics, including ongoing training and regular clinical supervision, to ensure safe and supportive work.

The Horses Wants You To Know……

  • EXPLORE

Change begins when you decide you are ready to look at your current beliefs, attitudes and behaviors with an open mind and heart.

  • DISCOVER

Each exploration with us offers you the opportunity to discover with clarity your authentic self, clear old beliefs and trauma, formulate new skills and a  positive action plan to create lasting changes in your life.

  • HEAL

You’ll find that the skills you bring to each new experience will take you further in life and give you the courage and confidence to be the best version of you!

WHAT IS RELATIONAL SOMATIC INQUIRY?

The body speaks all the time…we just need to listen. || Mariah Moser

Relational Somatic Inquiry is a collaborative and body-centred approach that supports individuals in exploring their inner landscapes with compassion and curiosity.

This work weaves together my training in Somatic Therapy, a psychotherapeutic approach informed by research in neuroscience, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory and trauma work, Internal Family Systems-informed parts work, and nervous system education.

The work in a Relational Somatic Inquiry is done by slowing down and entering “body time”, a state in which we bring mindful curiosity to our present-moment experience to gather information. Information that can free up channels of insight, integration and healing, offering us new possibilities in life. This is a whole-person model that trusts in the intrinsic health that lies beneath our suffering..

What is the FEEL® Equine Experience

In each experience at Kind Spirit Horses, clients are respected with trauma-informed practices as they interact with Eve and her horses. Riding the horses is not included in the experience; clients meet them—and themselves—with boots and hooves on the ground.

FEEL® (Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning)

FEEL® is a powerful healing modality that partners with horses to assist adults and youth in personal growth, professional development and spiritual connection. Horses teach reconnection by offering us presence, embodiment, emotional and sensory information. Reconnection to our body, senses and heart gives us access to more of our inner and outer world, creating more balance and harmony into our lives.

At Kind Spirit Horses participation is by choice - for both Horses and humans.

This work is profound- if you are feeling stuck in your life and don’t know where to start, sessions with Eve and her horses might be just what you are looking for to find clarity and regain your joy.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS WORK

“What will you do with your own wild, glorious chance at this thing we call life?”

~ Mary Oliver.

The intention of our work is to support clients in expanding their capacity for resilience by cultivating self-awareness, curiosity, inner trust, self-compassion, and a felt sense of safety in the body. While this work can benefit anyone drawn to it, we have found it to be especially supportive for those who:

  • find themselves at a crossroads in life

  • are navigating relational distress or attachment wounding

  • want to build greater trust in their inner knowing

  • struggle to understand or regulate their emotions and nervous system

  • are seeking to grow their resilience

  • are looking for support with integration (including plant medicine or other transformative experiences)

  • are living with the impacts of trauma

  • are looking for more clarity and attunement
